Small Group Instruction
The OnlineFlagger.com class was designed for one student one computer. However, the reality is several people can congregate around a single computer monitor and view the class information. This is all based based on your computer screen size. Be realistic do not put five people around a 14 inch monitor and expect anyone to learn about flagging. To accommodate small groups where it is limited to 2 to 5 people, we put have put into place the following procedure.
Follow this procedure:
1. Run the system test to check your computer system, to ensure it passes the system requirements.
2. A course must be purchased for each person taking the group class. Choose Purchase from the left Navigation Bar and choose the state you want to purchase a class for.
All participants in the group must take the same state course.
The purchase can be made individually or one person can pay for all students.
NOTE: The wallet card is sent to the shipping address chosen at the time of purchase.
3. After the Purchase each student needs registered. Follow the on screen instructions or from the confirmation of purchase, email.
4.
Of these students determine which one will be the "first" one that logs in to start the course.
The "first" person that logs in, will be the person that takes the exam immediately following the course.
Email us the Full Name and UserName of each student in the group. Indicate who the "first" person will be.
All other group members will be assigned a special login that skips the class and goes directly to the exam.
Do not start the course until you have received a email from us acknowledging your group class and containing specific instructions on how to take this class.
Very Important
5. As part of the exam each student must demonstrate how to Stop, Slow, and Release traffic. This is harder than it sounds on a computer. This is done using a poseable flagger puppet, we highly suggest before logging in, that each student practice using the controls before proceeding. To practice click here. There is another opportunity just before the exam to practice as well.
A mouse you hold in your hand is highly recommended.
