How to Work With Common Pop-Up Blockers:
A couple of things to consider, a personal computer is just that, personal. You may have installed software that is not covered by these instructions and we have no way of knowing that. We recommend that you take the class in Internet Explorer 6 or 7.
(If you see Hooray! You are not using popup blockers please continue to the section: Temporarily Disabling Toolbars)

It will tell you if you have pop-up blockers turned on or off and some help on turning them off. This link will open in a new window. When you are done, close the new window. Pop-up test.

Temporarily Disabling Toolbars
Allow pop-up's from this site.
Your browser will have a pop-up blocker and just about every toolbar has a popup blocker. You will have at least one pop-up blocker and most likely more. We have seen systems with as many as 26 tool bars and pop-up blockers installed. The quickest way to find and turn off the pop-up blockers is to temporarily disable them. See the instructions below for disabling the IE 6, IE 7 and other common tool bars. If you want these toolbars turned back on when the course is over, you simply reverse the process.

In Internet Explorer 7 Click Tools - Manage Add-ons - Enable or Disable Add-Ons, find the Tool Bar - Select it - then choose Disable. You will need to do this for each tool bar that is in your list. Yours will look different from this one.

Windows XP Popup Blocker Using Internet Explorer

• To disable
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
  3. Choose the Turn Off Pop-up Blocker option.
     
• To allow pop-ups for the OnlineFlagger.com web site
  1. From the Internet Explorer tool-bar, Select Tools menu, from the drop down menu, Select Internet Options then Select the Privacy tab (at the bottom of the Privacy window should be a Pop-up Blocker section), Select the Settings button.
  2. Add this address to the "Address of web site to allow.http://www.onlineflagger.com
  3. Select the Add button, then Select the Close button, then Select the OK button.

Earthlink

• To disable
  1. Click the Protection button on the toolbar.
  2. Click Pop-Up Blocker then Options.
  3. Click Off - Do not block any pop-ups
  4. Click Apply and OK to close the options window.
• To allow pop-ups from the OnlineFlagger.com web site
  Click the Protection button on the toolbar.
  1. Click Pop-Up Blocker then Options.
  2. Click Open Allow List
  3. Right-click on the first blank line, then type the full address of the site http://www.onlineflagger.com and then press Enter on your keyboard.
  4. Click OK to close the list.
  5. Click Apply and OK to close the options window.

AOL Toolbar

• To disable
  1. Click Settings on the AOL toolbar.
  2. Click Pop-Ups in the Essentials tab.
  3. Click Off - Do not block any pop-ups
  4. Click Apply and OK to close the options window.
• To allow pop-ups from the OnlineFlagger.com web site
  Click Settings on the AOL toolbar.
  Click Pop-Ups in the Essentials tab.
  In the Web Pop-Ups tab of the Pop-Up Control Settings window select Allow Web pop-ups from these sites.

  2. Click Add.
  3. Click Save.

  1. In the main window, on the left side click Norton AntiSpam.
  2. Click Pop-Ups Blocking -> Turn off.
